No sound is one of the most common problems of upgrading to Windows 10. It can be as a result of corrupt driver, or incompatibility issues.
I am going to teach you step by step different ways you can fix No Sound issue on windows 10 by yourself.
Carefully follow the instructions below.
1. Modify Your Speaker Properties
* Right click on the sound icon at the botton right toolbar and select Playback Devices.
* Select Speakers/Headphones and click Properties at the bottom.
* From the next window, click Advanced
* From the Default Format option, select and test all the sample rate and bit depth until any of them works for you.
* Click Apply, then OK
Now if the modifying your speakers properties doesn't work, then you'll have to uninstall and install the sound drivers.
How To Uninstall Audio Drivers
* First you have to open Device manager. To do that, right click on This PC and select Manage. Or Type Win+R at the same time, a run dialog box will popup.
Type devmgmt.msc in the box and click Ok
* Expand category under Sound, video and game controllers in Device Manager. You will see your sound card name.
* Right click on the sound card name and select Uninstall. Click OK to confirm.
* After the sound card driver has been uninstalled, restart your Computer.
* After restarting your computer, windows will attempt to reinstall the sound driver.
